Excellent Negative

Today we received the results from my BRCAAnalysis.  This is a genetic test that provides information regarding your risk of hereditary breast and ovarian cancer.

For me, it was negative, which means that my cancer is not genetic and I am at a much lower risk of having hereditary breast or ovarian cancer in the future.  If my results had been positive, a definite bilateral mastectomy and perhaps a hysterectomy would have been recommended.
