Speechless

It is not often that I find myself speechless, but today is one of those days!  There are so many thoughts running through my head and I can't find the words to express them ...

So, I have decided to leave the lyrics to a song that my wonderful brother-in-law has suggested I sing each time I find myself with my "head in the gutter" ...

Three Little Birds
Bob Marley

"Don't worry about a thing,
'Cause every little thing gonna be all right.
Singin': "Don't worry about a thing,
'Cause every little thing gonna be all right!"

Rise up this mornin',
Smiled with the risin' sun,
Three little birds
Pitch by my doorstep
Singin' sweet songs
Of melodies pure and true,
Sayin', ("This is my message to you-ou-ou:")

Singin': "Don't worry 'bout a thing,
'Cause every little thing gonna be all right."
Singin': "Don't worry (don't worry) 'bout a thing,
'Cause every little thing gonna be all right!"

Rise up this mornin',
Smiled with the risin' sun,
Three little birds
Pitch by my doorstep
Singin' sweet songs
Of melodies pure and true,
Sayin', "This is my message to you-ou-ou:"

Singin': "Don't worry about a thing, worry about a thing, oh!
Every little thing gonna be all right. Don't worry!"
Singin': "Don't worry about a thing" - I won't worry!
"'Cause every little thing gonna be all right."

Singin': "Don't worry about a thing,
'Cause every little thing gonna be all right" - I won't worry!
Singin': "Don't worry about a thing,
'Cause every little thing gonna be all right."
Singin': "Don't worry about a thing, oh no!
'Cause every little thing gonna be all right!

Here's to hoping that everything IS going to be all right ...

Hey Jill, nothing like Marley to cheer you up. I am both inspired and moved by your blog. Life is so full of strange twists. We never know what hand we'll be dealt but we have to play it the best we can and NEVER fold no matter what. I truly believe that God has a plan for all of us and he does not make mistakes. Whatever happens no matter how bad it seems, there is a reason for it that we may not understand for some time. I am so proud of the way you are handling all of this with such grace and dignity. I'm learning things about you that I would have never known. I always knew you had a lot of spunk and a feisty spirit though and that will serve you well. Fear is a powerful foe if you allow it to consume you. When I'm afraid I try to focus on the opposite which is faith. Fear cannot live in the presence of faith. That gets me through a lot of hard times and I hope it will help you too. Love you Jill!! Mel

Whenever you are having a down day...just look up and remember that Meema is up there making sure God is taking really good care of you. You know how committed she could be? I love you Jill.
